I started working with Ilene over 3 years ago, when I was first considering purchasing a home in Monroe, but before I was close to ready to consummate a deal. I was candid about my indefinite timetable at the time, and Ilene agreed to listen to my "wish list" of features and show me properties that met my criteria at that time. I live almost 1000 miles west of Monroe, and left with an agreement that Ilene, who by then understood what I was looking for, would keep me in mind when additional properties came on the market that met my criteria. Ilene was proactive in contacting me periodically about my readiness, to purchase, and when I finally told her that I would be looking seriously, she sent me information about the current market, and specific offerings. Her first suggestions were close to my target requirements, and after giving her feedback about what we liked and what we did not like, she was right on target with the next selections. Working remotely, she guided my friend who lived nearby to tour the house while I participated via a zoom call, and did a virtual walk through. I asked questions, with my friend being able to make additional observations and bring the camera where I wanted to see something close up. She guided me through the process of making a bid, and during the bidding process she advised me not to go forward, due to some terms in that the seller insisted on that were not to my benefit. She told me that she was aware that another house of the same model was going on the market within a month, and it may be even a better fit to my criteria. I followed her suggestion, and when the second house was ready, I again toured it remotely. Ilene was correct that this house met my criteria, and I made a bid that was accepted. In addition to making the difficult task of finding a house remotely work smoothly, she provided valuable guidance and leads for an inspection service and a selection of lawyers to represent me. After the bid was accepted, I traveled to join the inspector to check that all was well; Ilene facilitated that trip as well as the final walk through inspection prior to closing. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the entire process.

I have to say that Ilene did an outstanding job form start to finish. The day she put my house up for sale she came to the house and check out the house by taking notes and giving me a short list to do like taking down all my dark curtains that I had up in order to allow light into the rooms.
